This series of pictures show the finished piece, the work in progress and after delivery
to its owner as a garden table. The client and I celebrated with some wine to check
that it was functional.
The work in progress is a mirror image of the finished picture. This is because the
mosaic is made face side down. In the top left of the photo you can see the original
design for this piece.
The cost of this piece made up as a table was £750.
(If you look closely at the black and white marking on the head of the bird in flight
you will notice that it is different while being made from when it is finished. Shortly
after taking the photo I realised I had the marking wrong and had to unglue, re-cut
and replace a few of the tiles.)
